Cornbury House Horse Trials showcases some of the the finest young horses and riders in the country competing in dressage, cross country and show jumping.
WildPigs were appointed to develop a strategy and design expression to lead all
marketing for this prestigeous event taking place over five days in September 2025.
Approach
Following initial sessions focused on identifying strategic and design direction,
WildPigs undertook a photoshoot at Cornbury House with the intention of capturing imagery that would become the key visuals for the campaign. The outputs were taken into post production and crafted to become the basis of a suite of assets that led marketing activity. Supporting this were a family of messages strategically positioned to target core audience sectors.
Objectives
Build Awareness
The campaign set out to build awareness of Cornbury House Horse Trials both in the Cotswolds and nationally, positioning the event as a leading equestrian and lifestyle occasion in the UK calendar.
Online Ticket Sales
A key focus was to drive online ticket sales and hospitality enquiries, ensuring
measurable return through tracked sales, hospitality interest, and clear attribution across channels.
Engage Audiences
The campaign also aimed to engage three core audience groups: families seeking a fun day out, equestrian fans interested in top-level sport, and lifestyle and food lovers drawn to the Cotswolds setting and hospitality offer.
Deliverables
We delivered a suite of creative assets for use across online and offline channels including press ads, billboards, event programmes, direct mail and paid advertising.
